Recipe: Leftover Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Not that you would have leftover pulled pork or beef short ribs  but just in case, here’s what you do with it. You make the most awesome grilled cheese leftover pork sandwich. Ok?

And to be honest, even if you don’t have leftovers, slow-cooking a pork butt/shoulder just for this recipe isn’t a bad idea either.


  • mayo
  • shredded cheese
  • bbq pulled pork
  • arugula
  • pullman loaf, sliced
  • red onions, sliced



  • Slather both sides of each slice of bread with mayonnaise
  • Heat up griddle
  • Place one slice of bread onto the griddle, sprinkle shredded cheese onto the bread
  • As the cheese begins to melt, place the other slice of bread onto the griddle and top with  arugula, pulled pork and then more cheese
  • Gently place the first slice of bread onto the second and place a pot lid on top
  • Brown the bread, melt the cheese and then remove from the griddle
  • Slice and serve with pickles and tomato soup
