Kale, oil & salt (and an oven) are all you need to make these easy, healthy kale chips.
This is a great recipe to do with the kids, who can wash, de-rib and tear the kale. They will also be able to massage in the oil and sprinkle the salt.
- preheat oven to 325
- remove ribs from kale and tear into pieces (larger pieces will take more time to bake but I find are easier to eat)
- place kale on tray, spray with high-heat oil (coconut, canola, etc.) and rub into leaves
- salt to taste
- bake for 8-12 minutes, until crispy
- make sure to watch the chips so they do not burn
