Yogurt Curry Chicken

Yogurt curry chicken

This chicken is versatile and tasty and can be scaled up or down. Wonderful hot off the grill and also the next day on sandwiches or in chicken salad, on pizzas or in soup. The yogurt tenderizes the chicken and the hint of curry gives the meat extra depth of flavor.


  • Boneless, Skinless Chicken thighs
  • Plain yogurt
  • Madras Curry powder
  • Salt
  • Cracked Black Pepper
  • Cooking oil spray


  • Place chicken thighs in a large Ziploc bag
  • Add enough yogurt to cover chicken
  • Add a small pinch of curry powder for each thigh and cracked black pepper and salt to taste
  • Spray a medium hot grill with cooking spray and cook thighs until juices run clear


  • The yogurt can be full, low or non-fat, Greek or regular
  • Instead of curry, you can also try Cajun seasoning, jerk spices, thyme and lemon juice, rosemary
