Every evening after tooth-brushing my three kids bring their toothbrushes and cups over to the kitchen so that we can brush after breakfast before we leave for school the next day. It is a nightly ritual.
After brushing in the morning, the brushes stay on the windowsill getting sun until the evening when the cycle is repeated.
Each child has a distinctive colored brush
and matching washi-tape
on their cups to prevent germ-swapping which is especially helpful during cold season.
My daughter has graduated to grown-up toothpaste
while my 5 and almost 3 year old use a children’s toothpaste
Even toothbrushes deserve a moment in the spotlight.
